About me

My name is Caron Wasserman, I work in the North London and Hertfordshire area and photography is my passion.  I specialise in family and children's photography and chose this area as I love the challenge of capturing that "me-ness" in someone's face - that certain something that you recognise in your loved ones. 

Photographing your children on the move

I look for that natural spark that comes from spontaneity, so rather than the usual formal studio portraits I love to photograph people in as informal environment as possible. To that end, although I have a studio to work in, I am also lucky enough to have a wonderful garden at my studio so I can capture you and your family outside, playing games, being totally free. Alternatively, if you'd like to organise a special day out, or enjoy a particular activity, I can come along to document your day, or even come to your home.

Capturing the mood

We decide in advance what mood you want for your shoot, and where you want to be. For example if there is some activity that you all enjoy then let me know about it, and we can plan to include this. I generally ask that people bring along something that they really identify with, this could be a stuffed toy, a football, or pointe shoes.

I work best with your family when they are really engaged in doing something that they love, whether that is playing cricket, doing ballet, kite flying, blowing bubbles or even reading. As long as they are happy, I can capture that moment forever.

I hope that my love for what I do comes across in the photographs that I take - my aim is to ensure that you have a great experience, and are delighted with the results.
