Studio

I am really flexible in the studio and can shoot either low-key, or high-key. Low-key is shot using a dark background and pools of light. This is less suitable for active children running about, but can work beautifully with babies, adults, or teens who like to pose. High-key is shot using a white background, lots of lights, and gives you the possibility of lots of movement within your photos. I have a mobile studio which can be set up anywhere, using both low and high-key, and can either work in my studio, or in your home. View portfolio.

Lifestyle

While I'm happy in the studio, I'm happiest outdoors! I love to take spontaneous informal natural shots, either outdoors at my studio, or on a day out with your family. We discuss what your family loves to do, whether that be sporting activities or just playing outside, and I just let you play while I capture the moment.

Action

I spend a lot of time at various sports activities, and love shooting at kite festivals, rugby matches, or by the sea. I enjoy the challenge of capturing those little faces at children's parties, and am happy and willing to join you while you're out playing. View portfolio.

Bump and baby

People who don’t move around so much are a welcome change for me, so babies, (and their mums before they’re born) are a good opportunity to change the mood, and to create calm, intimate, still environments where I can capture those special moments. View portfolio.

Family

I’m happy to shoot family groups, or couples wherever you want to be. Between us we can decide the mood and place you want to be captured, and it is easy for me to take both studio and outdoors photos at the same shoot. View portfolio.

Commercial and advertising photography

I enjoy shooting interiors or exteriors of houses, as well as product shoots in the studio.
